- 1). Download and install the DiskAid program. DiskAid costs $9.90 and is available for Mac and PC computers. There is also a free trial version that is available for both platforms, but is limited to only 14 days of use.
- 2). Connect your iPhone to the computer using the iPhone-to-USB cable and wait for your computer to recognize that you have attached an external device via USB connection.
- 3). Navigate to the directory where your videos are stored. By default, your videos are in a folder called "videos" under one called "media," which is inside the "mobile" folder within the "var" directory.
- 4). Select the video or videos you wish to put onto your computer from the panel on the right, which displays the contents of the "videos" folder.
- 5). Press "Copy to Mac" or "Copy to PC" depending your operating system. A new browsing window will pop up, asking you where you wish to move these files.
- 6). Navigate to the desired location and press "Open." When the transfer completes, you will have viewable MOV files of your Cycorder videos on your computer.
