    Blue Marlin

    • The blue marlin is a carnivorous fish that measures up to 14 feet long and can weigh up to 1,985 pounds. These fish live in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans and range from tropical to temperate waters. They have a deep, blue back that blends into a silver color, which runs from their eye to their tail, and the silver blends into a silver-white belly. They have up to 30 vertical, wavy bars that run along their sides and a horizontal line that runs from their pectoral fin to their tail. They eat squid, crustaceans like shrimp, copepods and krill and other fish.

    • Great barracudas are a predatory fish that can grow up to 6.5 feet long and weigh up to 88 pounds. It is a tropical fish, found in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. They prefer water temperatures that are around 75 degrees Fahrenheit. They have silver bodies with dark spots that are long and narrow, large, needle-like teeth and are agile swimmers. They are piscivorous, meaning that they eat fish, dolphins and even lizards.
