- 1). Connect an external hard drive or a flash drive to your computer’s USB port.
- 2). Click the “Start” button and then click on the “Computer” icon.
- 3). Click on the external hard drive’s icon to open the window.
- 4). Locate your AVCHD folder on your computer and then drag it to the external hard drive’s window.
- 5). Wait for the folder to transfer and then eject the external hard drive from your computer.
- 6). Plug the USB cable into the USB port on the front of your PS3.
- 7). Scroll through the home screen to the “Video” icon and press the “X” button.
- 8). Scroll down to your external hard drive and click on it. Scroll to the “AVCHD” folder and press the “Triangle” button.
- 9). Click the “Copy” button to copy the folder to your PS3 console.
