Wagner 2800 psi Spray Tips
- Wagner's 2800 psi paint sprayer uses a piston pump for moving paint from a storage hopper, through a supply hose, and through the spray gun and tip. The machine is designed for exterior spray painting, but can use an optional roller attachment for interior use. The spray tip is removable, allowing users to alter the spray's emission for thicker or thinner paint applications.
- The number 411 spray tip is an option for the Wagner 2800 psi paint sprayer. The tip's spray width measures eight inches, with an opening or orifice size of 0.11 inches. This small orifice size will only emit a fine spray of paint compared to larger openings.
- The 413 spray tip has the same spray width as the 411, measuring eight inches, as denoted by the first digit "4." However, the orifice is larger at 0.13 inches, as indicated by the last two digits of the tip number. The larger orifice allows greater paint spray volume on the targeted surface, and is designed for many applications, from painting cabinets to doors.
- One of the most common spray tips is the 415 type. Measuring eight inches in spray width and 0.15 inches for the orifice size, this tip can be used for exterior painting, decks and ceilings. As noted from the larger orifice size, more paint volume sprays from the tip for a thicker paint coating.
- The 515 spray tip has a 10-inch-wide spray pattern fan tip with a 0.15 inch orifice. This tip's larger width will produce a thinner spray coating than the 415 tip. Both have the same orifice size, but an increased fan width sprays a thin coating since more paint is stretched across a larger surface area.
