How to Make Three-Ringed Bows for Your Hair
- 1). Lay the 10-inch ribbon out flat, with the nicer side facing down. Fold the ribbon in half, and then mark the inside of the crease with a pen or marker. This will enable you to clearly see the center of the ribbon.
- 2). Put a dab of hot glue about half the diameter of a dime on the center of the barrette.
- 3). Center the ribbon over the dab of glue and securely attach it at this point.
- 4). Put a dime-sized dab of glue on the ribbon, at the center of the clip.
- 5). Flip one end of the ribbon over and press it into half of the dab of glue to form a loop.
- 6). Flip the other end of the ribbon over and press it into the other half of the dab of glue. Push on the center where the ends meet to make sure they are securely attached.
- 7). Make a circular loop with the four-inch long piece of ribbon by overlapping one edge over the other, and then use a bit of hot glue to secure this shape.
- 8). Put a dab of glue (about half the size of a dime) in the center of the bow.
- 9). Push the last loop into the center of the bow so that the overlapping edges of the loop are concealed at the bottom.
