How to Make Beaded Loop Bracelets
- 1
Supplies used for a beaded loop bracelet.
Separate the two halves of the bracelet clasp. - 2
Measure and cut the wire.
Measure out approximately 9 inches of beading wire with a ruler and cut the piece from the wire roll with the wire cutters. - 3). String a crimp bead on one end of the wire, followed by one half of the clasp.
- 4
Crimp bead and wire loop to secure clasp.
Bend the wire approximately a 1/2-inch from the end and insert it back through the crimp bead to create a wire loop that anchors the clasp in place. - 5). Use the crimp pliers to secure the crimp bead on the wire to hold the end secure.
- 1). Arrange the beads you want for your bracelet in the order you want them on the bracelet. If you use a beading board, use the ruler on the board to help gauge how many beads you'll need to make a 6- to 7-inch bracelet. If you don't have a board, use the ruler. A cloth under the beads will help stop them from rolling around.
- 2
Stringing the beads on the wire.
String the beads in the sequence you desire on the beading wire and test the bracelet against your wrist to check the length. - 3
Adding the final crimp bead and clasp piece.
String a crimp bead on the wire when the bracelet is the length you want. String the other half of the bracelet clasp and pass the wire back through the crimp bead to create a loop that holds the clasp in place. - 4). Use the crimp pliers to secure the crimp bead and hold the loop in place. Cut any excess wire with the wire cutters.
