How to Setup an iPod Shuffle As a Portable Device

1). Use the iPod shuffle USB cable to connect your iPod shuffle to a USB port on your computer.
2). Locate the iPod shuffle icon in the device section of the iTunes on the left-hand side of the interface. The icon will appear when your computer begins reading your iPod shuffle.
3). Click on the iPod shuffle icon in the device section of the iTunes interface.
4). Click on the "Summary" tab in the main iTunes window.
5). Click on the box to the left of "Enable disk use" in the "Options" section in the main iTunes window.
6). Click the "Apply" button to set your iPod shuffle up as a portable storage device.
