DoubleTwist App

• The doubleTwist application is a free-to-download app developed exclusively for Android devices. It enables you to use any Android phone as a portable MP3 player. It can be downloaded by using your Android phone to scan a barcode that appears next to the app's description on doubleTwist's website. This may require you to download a barcode reader app for your phone first. You can also download doubleTwist without a barcode from the Android Market store.
  
  

AirSync

• DoubleTwist AirSync is a companion application to the doubleTwist app that gives you the ability to sync your iTunes music collection and information to your computer wirelessly. The AirSync app and the doubleTwist app are both compatible with either Mac or PC. The AirSync app not only allows you to sync music from your computer to your phone, but also any music you purchase on your phone to your computer. AirSync costs $4.99 to download at time of publication.
  
  

Upgrade

• The doubleTwist app is free to download, but it offers a paid update that gives it an added feature not available with the initial download. The update will examine all the songs stored in the doubleTwist player and supply any missing album art from a licensed artwork database provided by Gracenote. Any songs that already have artwork will not be affected by the upgrade and will continue to display their current art.

• In addition to music and playlist information, doubleTwist also gives you the ability to download and listen to a wide variety of podcasts. These podcasts can be listened to from your phone or your computer. They cover a wide range of topics including art, business, comedy, education, government, sports, news, politics, science and technology. Some of the most popular podcasts include the CBSSports.com Football Podcast, the Android Central Podcast and "The New York Times'" Tech Talk Podcast.
