- 1). Connect the iPod nano to one of the open USB ports on your computer with the connection cable. Wait for iTunes to launch automatically.
- 2). Click the "File" button. Click "Add To Library." Click the movie that you want to play on the iPod nano in the dialog that appears and click "Add."
- 3). Click the movie's entry in the iTunes library and click "Advanced." Click "Create iPod version" icon in the drop-down menu to create an MP4 copy of the movie file. Click the MP4 file and drag it onto the "iPod nano" entry in the "Devices" list to copy the movie to the iPod's hard drive. Wait for the transfer to complete before disconnecting the iPod.
- 4). Turn on the nano and scroll to the "Videos" section of the Main Menu. Press the "Play" button. Highlight the name of the movie you want to watch and press "Play."
- 5). Tilt the nano so the LCD is horizontal to view the video on the iPod's screen.
