- 1). Open the folder containing your saved LimeWire tracks. Most users keep this folder in the "My Music" folder of "My Computer."
- 2). Open iTunes from your computer desktop. You can easily double-click the iTunes icon on your desktop to launch it. If you do not have iTunes installed, download it for free from Apple.com.
- 3). Click, drag, then drop the music files from your saved LimeWire folder into the "Library" category in iTunes. When prompted, select "Convert" to change the LimeWire extensions to "MP4."
- 4). Connect your iPod to the computer with the iPod USB cable. iTunes will recognize the connected device and begin to sync the converted LimeWire tracks to it.
- 5). Click the eject icon next to your iPod in the iTunes application to safely eject the iPod from the computer once the sync is complete. Remove the iPod USB cable to complete the process.
