    • 1). Roll the polymer clay into a quarter-sized ball.

    • 2). Slice the ball in half with a knife.

    • 3). Press a dried kidney bean into one half of the clay.

    • 4). Place the other half of the clay on top of the first half.

    • 5). Squeeze the re-formed ball slightly.

    • 6). Carefully separate the halves and remove the dried kidney bean.

    • 7). Place the clay halves onto a cookie sheet.

    • 8). Bake the clay halves for 10 minutes in a 200-degree oven.

    • 9). Allow the clay to cool completely.

      Press a pea-sized amount of clay into one half of the kidney bean mold.

      Place the second half of the mold on top of the first, and press them together. When you remove the halves, there will be a kidney shaped model that can be baked and used in an anatomy project.
