    • 1). Clean the area around the crack with a wet/dry vacuum.

    • 2). Put on your safety glasses and grind the crack with the right angle hand grinder until it is 1/2 to 1-inch deep. Clear the crack of any loose debris and dust with the vacuum.

    • 3). Open your crack repair kit. The kits usually contain an application gun, one tube of polyurea, a type of elastomer resin and another tube with hardening agent. The application gun combines the polyurea and the hardening agent in equal amounts to seal the crack. Place the tubes in the application gun.

    • 4). Apply the polyurea and the hardening agent into the crack with the application gun. Only apply a small amount of product into the crack to act as a primer base.

    • 5). Sprinkle a light coat of the masonry sand into the crack before the crack repair solution has a chance to dry. Allow to dry for 20 minutes.

    • 6). Apply the crack repair product again inside the crack, this time filling it to the top.

    • 7). Fill the crack with masonry sand immediately after applying the final application of the crack repair product. Clean up any excess sand with the trowel. Allow to dry for one hour.

    • 8). Grind the excess product product from the top of the crack with the grinder to give a finished look.
