    • 1). Disable the "Auto Start" if your computer asks you to register the Organize Quick & Easy software every time it boots up, or if the software is starting up every time you boot up your computer.

Click "Start" and "Programs." Right-click and delete the "Organizer Quick & Easy" icon and anything listed, such as "Register."

Click "Yes" to send these items to the Recycle Bin. This does not remove your organizing software program, only the shortcut causing it to auto start.

    • 2). Save the file under a different name if you see these error messages while shutting down the program: "File Error: file location" or "Failed to Save Document."

If you are not using a networked computer system, click "File" and "Save As" and enter a new file name (instead of the one you previously used).

If your computer system is networked, follow the above instructions and save this newly named file to your network's shared folder. To avoid these error messages in the future, don't use the alarm function for events, and ensure that you turn off the software at the end of each day.

    • 3). Adjust the screen resolution in your operating system if you open the program and what you're viewing does not fit on your screen. The screen resolution needs to be at least 800 pixels by 600 pixels.

Click: "Start" and "Settings (skip this if you're using Windows XP)," Control Panel" and "Display." In Windows XP, first click "Appearance Themes," then "Display" and "Settings."

Look for either "Screen resolution" or "Screen area." This has to be at least 800 by 600.

You also may need to adjust the font size in your system. Click "Advanced," "Font size," "Normal or Small (96 dpi), "OK," "Close" and "Yes."

Go back through these instructions and make the screen resolution 1024 by 768 instead of 800 by 600 if you are still having trouble viewing the screen correctly in the Organize Quick & Easy software.

    • 4). Change your computer's clock if the software opens to the wrong date.

Close "Organize Quick & Easy." Double-click your clock (usually on the bottom right corner of your screen). Input the correct time, date and time zone. Click "OK."

      Reopen "Organize Quick & Easy."

    • 5). Change due dates one by one for repeated To Do items, which will carry the due date you put in for the first iteration until you manually edit it. Use "Day Planner" or "To Do" and edit the due date in each iteration of the To Do item.

    • 6). Make this Windows XP correction if you are not able to use the autodialer function with Windows XP MediaCenter: Click "Start," "Control Panel," "Administrative Tools," "Services," "Media Center Scheduler Services," "Stop" and "OK."

    • 7). Make the following adjustment in your operating system if you are trying to print pages from the software with portrait orientation, yet the pages always print in landscape:

Click "Start," "Settings (ignore if using XP)" and "Printers." Click once on your printer to highlight, then click "File" and "Properties." Browse through each tab until you find "Orientation" and click on it, then click "Orientation," "Portrait," "Apply" and "Close window."

Go into Organize Quick & Easy to try again to print.
