- 1). Sweep the area where the dryer will go with a broom and dustpan.
- 2). Position the dryer close to the laundry area in the mobile home with the back end of the dryer facing out. Push the dryer toward the laundry area so it can reach the exhaust hose. This hose resembles a small air duct.
- 3). Take the mobile home's exhaust hose and connect it to the dryer's exhaust vent located on the back of the dryer. It has the same diameter as the exhaust hose. The exhaust hose connects to the mobile home's dryer vent, a small hole in the wall. Use the dryer's exhaust hose clamp to secure it to the dryer's exhaust vent.
- 4). Plug the dryer’s power cable into the electrical outlet in the mobile home’s laundry room.
- 5). Push the dryer into place and make sure that the exhaust hose is straight with no kinks. Turn the dryer on.
- 6). Go outside and locate the mobile home’s exhaust vent. Place your hand on the exhaust vent to check for hot air. If no hot air comes out of the vent, reposition the exhaust hose so there are no kinks.
