The Apple Mac Pro Two - A Tale of Two RAMs
If you have had some time to check out the latter model, you'll realize that the high price of over $2500 was mainly due to the undeniable fact that the machine has got plenty to offer.
To start this review, you need to understand that the machine has got two processors.
Now, that is something.
The two processors enable the machine to process a lot of things at the same time and even handle very heavy software and complex programs.
It also makes it very easy for someone to handle design work with ease.
The Intel Xeon Quad-Core processors are not all that make it special.
Fully equipped with the Mac OS X v10.
6 Snow Leopard operating system - which some claim to be the most advanced - the machine can operate plenty of applications.
Unlike previous models where the only software that could run on Apple's computers was that which was made by Adobe, you can experience freedom with the Mac.
Another unique feature of the Apple Mac Pro Two is the 6 GB ECC DDR SDRAM that is buried inside it.
In addition to this the machine's RAM can be increased to 32 GB, making it one of the largest RAM spaces you'll ever come to meet in a home and office computer.
Despite its beastly nature, the machine possesses a hard drive with a capacity of "only"640 GB.
This amount can be much or little depending on the nature of job that you will be doing.
For someone like me, the space might be too much for me considering the fact that I really don't store a lot of things in the hard drive.
However given its features, I doubt whether the machine was meant for the average guy.
It therefore needs Apple to go and learn a couple of tricks from its competitors on how to sell more hard drive space.
There are plenty of things that would definitely endear a geek to this kind of computer.
However, I have a feeling that if you go to buy this machine without thinking whether you need it, then you will most likely be disappointed in one way or another.
I would therefore advise you to look at things such as the availability of funds and other Macs that you can buy before you settle on the Apple Mac Pro Two.
