    Ribbon-Wrapped Band

    • 1). Apply a thin layer of glue to the plastic headband.

    • 2). Wrap the headband with red ribbon, overlapping the edges to cover the band completely.

    • 3). Glue purple rhinestones to the top of the band.

    Beaded Band

    • 1). String the beads on a 26-gauge wire in whatever pattern you like.

    • 2). Wrap the 28-gauge wire around the end of the comb-style headband three or four times. Add a drop of jewelry glue to hold it.

    • 3). Place the beaded strand along the top of the comb headband. Wrap the thinner wire around the beaded wire and the headband between each comb tooth to secure them together.

    • 4). Wrap the thinner wire three or four times around the end of the headband and glue it in place.

    Feathered Band

    • 1). Apply glue to a plastic headband and wrap purple ribbon around it, overlapping the wraps to cover the band.

    • 2). Cut a three-inch circle from the cardboard. Paint it with two coats of the acrylic paint. Let it dry completely.

    • 3). Glue the feathers around the circle, covering most of the cardboard. It's fine to let some of the paint show through.

    • 4). Glue the circle to the headband, or use a tapestry needle and embroidery floss to sew it to the band.
