How to Paint Scalloped Garden Borders on Cement

1). Wash the cement walkway or wall the day before with a garden hose. You want to remove debris and dirt from the surface. The surface must be completely dry before you can paint it.
2). Place the scallop stencil on the cement surface. Use duct tape to hold it in place.
3). Nestle a drop cloth in front of the stencil. You can sit on this. The drop cloth also will catch stray paint.
4). Open, mix and pour the paint into a paint tray. Cover the roller brush with paint by dipping it in the tray. Make sure the roller brush is covered with paint but not dripping.
5). Roll the paint over the scalloped stencil. Allow the paint to dry before removing the stencil.
