- 1). Place the front side of the origami paper face down with the corners of the paper pointing up, down, left and right.
- 2). Fold the top corner to the bottom corner and the left corner to the right corner. Unfold the entire paper.
- 3). Place the bottom corner to the center crease line and unfold.
- 4). Fold the bottom corner up to form a crease in the middle of the two horizontal crease lines.
- 5). Bend the top corner to the back side, and fold down when its tip lines up with the bottom edge.
- 6). Fold the right side up so that the right corner is at the same height as the bottom corner tip that's folded up.
- 7). Bring the left corner up to form a crease that lines up with the diagonal edge on the back side. Bend the sharp tip from the left corner down to form a small triangle for the otter's nose.
- 8). Bend the sharp corner tip from the resulting left side to the back side to help round off the edge for the otter's head.
- 9). Give the origami otter facial features by coloring the top half of the nose black and adding a sticker googly eye above the nose.
