How to Use Tide for Roof Moss

1). Climb to the roof with a ladder, hoisting a bucket of powdered Tide with bleach and placing it securely on the roof.
2). Sprinkle powdered Tide over the moss and allow it to go to work. It could take one to two days before the moss begins to brown and die.
3). Scrape brown, dead moss off of the roof with a plastic scraping tool. Scrape gently to avoid pulling off tiles or shingles. Make sure the moss is dead before scraping, as dead moss will be easier to remove.
4). Remove all traces of moss to keep it from regrowing.
5). Rinse clean by pouring buckets of water over the rooftop.
