- 1). Open a Keynote presentation. Tap the presentation document icon to open Keynote and load the presentation, or touch the Keynote application icon and tap "File,""Open" and navigate to the presentation to open it.
- 2). Connect a video adapter cable to the dock connector on the iPad and the other to an HDMI input jack on your monitor or projector. The video adapter cable can be purchased from an Apple store or online at apple.com.
- 3). Tap the "Layout" button in the upper-right corner of the screen. Touch "Current and Notes." Press the "Play" button to begin the presentation.
- 4). Swipe your finger to the left or right in the presenter notes portion of the screen to review notes while the presentation is underway.
