How to Make a String Bracelet With Seven Strings and a Cardboard Disc
- 1). Cut along the fold lines of a cereal box. Place the front of the cereal box on a flat work surface.
- 2). Turn a drinking glass upside down. Place the drinking glass on the cereal box. Trace around the outside edge of the drinking glass.
- 3). Remove the drinking glass. Cut the circle from the cardboard following the traced line.
- 4). Cut 8 slits evenly spaced around the outside edge of the circle approximately 1/2 inch long.
- 5). Poke a hole through the center of the cardboard disc with a pencil.
- 6). Match the ends of seven strands of embroidery floss 24 inches long. Secure the bundle together with a knot approximately 1 inch from one end.
- 7). Insert the seven ends of the bundle of embroidery floss through the center hole on the cardboard circle. Pull the embroidery floss until the knot is flush with the cardboard.
- 8). Separate the embroidery floss strands. Pull a strand tight while stretching it from the center of the cardboard to a slit along the outside edge. Slide the strand into the slit to hold. Repeat the process with the remaining six strands. An open slot will exist when the seven strands are secured.
- 9). Hold the cardboard disk in your nondominant hand just next to the open slot.

Count three pieces of embroidery floss on the right side of the disc. Remove the floss from it's slot and place it in the open slot. - 11
Turn the disc in a clockwise motion. Hold the disc by the open slot. Repeat Steps 10 and 11 until the bracelet is the desired length. - 12
Remove the seven strands of embroidery floss from the disc. Pull the ends through the center circle. - 13
Tie a knot at the end of the woven bracelet. Cut the embroidery floss approximately 1 inch from the knot.
