- 1). Measure the depth of the drawer. The Accuride drawer slide should be the same depth as the drawer box.
- 2). Disconnect the cabinet member of the drawer slide with the drawer box member by pressing the release clips on the side of the drawer slide.
- 3). Position one of the cabinet members of the drawer slide into the hole of the cabinet. The drawer slide should be mounted flush to the face of the cabinet and near the bottom of the opening.
- 4). Level the drawer slide. Screw the 5/8-inch screws into the predrilled holes on the drawer slide. Place four screws into the slide and fasten it to the cabinet box.
- 5). Repeat the process on the other side of the cabinet opening.
- 6). Place the drawer member of the Accuride drawer slide onto the drawer box. The drawer slide should be mounted on the side of the box. Mount the slide so that it is flush with the front and bottom of the drawer box. Attach the slide using four 5/8-inch screws and a power drill.
- 7). Repeat this process on the opposite side of the drawer box.
- 8). Slide the drawer box into the cabinet. Confirm that the drawer slides are lined up. Slowly engage the drawer slides.
