How to Reuse a Glow Plug for a T-Maxx

1). Remove the glow plug by loosening it with a pair of pliers. Unscrew the glow plug and pull it out of the engine head block.
2). Hold the glow plug in your hand, then inspect the filament and look for build up of carbon debris -- this is usually a result of regular use.
3). Use a sewing needle to gently scrape away the debris, while making sure not to snag nor break the delicate filament. Clean off as much of the carbon build-up as you can, then use the pressurized air to blow out any dust particles or remaining carbon.
4). Reinstall your glow plug into your T-Maxx by screwing it down int the engine head. Start your vehicle in the regular fashion to test that you can reuse the glow plug. If your engine doesn't start, then you will need to purchase a replacement glow plug.
