Purchasing Video Content on a Computer Using iTunes

    • Every iPod user is required to set up iTunes on their home computer, therefore providing a very easy and convenient method for accessing video content. iTunes features an extensive library of television and movie content available for purchase, updated daily. Using either iTunes cards or your credit card, content can be purchased and downloaded, ready to be installed the next time you sync your iPod.

Accessing iTunes Directly from your iPod

    • If you own an iPod Touch and have access to a wifi connection, you can access the iTunes store and purchase content in a similar fashion to using a computer. Content purchased will then be downloaded directly to your iPod and can be copied to your home computer when you next sync your device.

    Tranferring Digital Copies

    • Many DVD and Blu-ray movies feature an included digital copy of the film, often on a separate disc. By inserting the disc into your home computer and entering the access code included with the digital copy, you can transfer a copy of the film to your computer hard drive. The digital copy will then act exactly like any videos purchased through the iTunes store and can be transferred to your iPod. A digital copy can only be transferred to one iTunes account.
