Apple's iPod is a very popular electronic device for personal entertainment. Music, videos and even games are now available for the various iterations of the iPod. The iPod Nano, Classic and Touch all feature video capability, allowing users to watch television and movies on their portable media device. Depending on your preference, there are a few convenient options for installing video content on an iPod. - Every iPod user is required to set up iTunes on their home computer, therefore providing a very easy and convenient method for accessing video content. iTunes features an extensive library of television and movie content available for purchase, updated daily. Using either iTunes cards or your credit card, content can be purchased and downloaded, ready to be installed the next time you sync your iPod.
- If you own an iPod Touch and have access to a wifi connection, you can access the iTunes store and purchase content in a similar fashion to using a computer. Content purchased will then be downloaded directly to your iPod and can be copied to your home computer when you next sync your device.
- Many DVD and Blu-ray movies feature an included digital copy of the film, often on a separate disc. By inserting the disc into your home computer and entering the access code included with the digital copy, you can transfer a copy of the film to your computer hard drive.
