How to Make Your iPod Touch Available to Watch Videos
- 1). Press the "Home" button to go to the iPod Touch's home screen.
- 2). Tap "Settings" on the home screen.
- 3). Tap "Wi-Fi," and then tap the "Wi-Fi" option to "On" to enable the iPod Touch to connect to the Internet when you are in range of a Wi-Fi hotspot, such as your home or office network, or a free public hotspot such as at the local library, a cafe or fast food restaurant. Tap "Settings" to go back to the "Settings" screen.
- 4). Tap the "Airplane Mode" option to "Off" to disable "Airplane Mode." When the iPod Touch is in "Airplane Mode," you cannot connect to the Internet and watch streaming videos or access Apple's iTunes Store to download movies.
- 5). Tap "General," and then tap "Restrictions" if this option is set to "On." Type your four-digit passcode at the prompt to see the "Restrictions" screen.
- 6). Tap the "YouTube" option to "On" to enable the use of the "YouTube" app.
- 7). Touch the screen and drag your finger upward to scroll down to the "Allowed Content" section.
- 8). Tap "Movies," and then tap on each movie rating, such as "G," "PG" or "R" to enable the ability to watch movies based on ratings, or tap the "Allow All Movies" option to enable all movies. A checkmark next to an option indicates that it is enabled. Tap "Restrictions" to return to the "Restrictions" screen.
- 9). Tap "TV Shows," and then tap on each TV rating, such as "TV-PG" or "TV-14" to enable the ability to watch TV shows by rating, or tap the "Allow all TV Shows" option to enable all TV shows. A checkmark next to an option indicates that it is enabled.

Tap the "YouTube" app icon to access YouTube and browse, search for and watch videos. Tap the "App Store" app icon to access Apple's iTunes Store to browse, search for and download videos directly to the iPod Touch.
