How to Make a Bouquet of Flowers From Construction Paper
- 1). Fold the green construction paper in half vertically. Measure 1 inch in from the side where the edges meet and draw a straight line all the way up the page, using a ruler. Draw evenly spaced lines from the seam of the page to meet perpendicularly with the long line.
- 2). Cut along each shorter line and open the page. This will result in a page that has many slits cut into it, and a solid bar along each edge. Fold the paper over again, but only as far as the solid bar, not completely lining up the two edges. Staple the ends. Roll the stapled paper so the short ends meet; staple these together to create a circle with little arches for stems. Place this bunch of stems into a vase or paper cup to keep it upright.
- 3). Draw a large spiral on each of the pieces of red construction paper, starting in the center and curling outward until it touches the end of the page. Cut along the spiraling line. Start with the end of the spiral and roll it up toward the center; the result will look like a rose. Staple the center of the spiral to the bottom of the rose.
- 4). Staple or glue the roses onto the arched “leaves” in the bunch of stems you placed in the vase. Keep some without roses to remain as leaves in the bouquet.
