How to Download Songs From iPod Nano to CD
- 1). Plug the USB cable into the power port on the bottom of the iPod Nano. Power on the Nano (if it isn't already) and iTunes automatically detects the hardware and loads onto the screen (iTunes is required to activate the iPod Nano so you already have it on the computer).
- 2). Click "My Devices" on the left side of the screen. this brings up all the iPod Nanon information into view. Click "Sync" to sync up the device to the computer, uploading any music the device has recently acquired onto the computer.
- 3). Insert the blank CD into the CD burner of the computer, then close out the AutoPlay window that loads. Click inside the iTunes window to move back to the program.
- 4). Click "File," "New Playlist," then title the playlist. Select "Music" in the upper left corner of the iTunes program window. This loads all the audio files stored in iTunes (and on the iPod Nano). Right-click each audio track you want to place on the CD and choose "Sent to Playlist," then choose the playlist you just created.
- 5). Click on the playlist listing in the lower left corner of the iTunes window, then click "Burn CD" in the lower right corner. The program begins to write the music from the iPod Nano onto the blank CD.
