Physical Characteristics

• The iPod Nano 4th Generation is 3.5 inches in height, 1.6 inches wide and is a slender 0.25 inches thick and comes in nine colors. The screen is 2 inches measured diagonally and has a back light. A click-wheel is used to control the iPod, play and pause songs, and adjust volume. There is a hold switch on the top edge of the screen to prevent the iPod controls from changing your music accidentally.
  
  

Features

• The iPod Nano 4G plays music, videos, audio books and podcasts. It also displays photographs and includes a calendar, notes, stopwatch, clocks from around the world and an alarm. Music can be organized into playlists in iTunes or at anytime in "On The Go" playlists. There is also a "Genuis" list that will search for music similar to the selected song and make you a playlist.
  
  

Capacity

• The iPod Nano 4G comes in 8 GBs or 16 GBs. The 8-GB model will hold up to 2,000 songs, eight hours of video and 7,000 photos. Both models are fully charged within three hours and have up to 24 hours of music playback.
