How to Copy Music From an iPhone to a Mac
- 1). Install TouchCopy. To do this you will need to go to the website and click the "Download to Mac" button on the front page. Then follow the instructions given for the installation process. TouchCopy offers a demo version, so you won't have to purchase the program until you've tried it.
- 2). Plug your iPhone into your Mac and open TouchCopy. All the data from the iPhone should be viewable from TouchCopy, including music, photos, Apps, and phone numbers.
- 3). Select the music and files you wish to download, then click either "Copy to Mac" or "Copy to iTunes". You can filter the music by artist, genre or album title, and copy only the songs that you want, or you can copy the entire library to your hard drive. Once you've selected your files and given the command, just wait for the files to download, and you're finished.
