How to Make a Scented Stuffed Animal
- 1). Draw and cut out your animal on a piece of paper. You can craft a real animal or create something entirely different, such as a monster.
- 2). Lay two pieces of material down, one on top of the other. For stuffed animals, use thick material, such as fleece or canvas.
- 3). Pin the drawing to the material and outline using a fabric pencil. Draw the outline 1/4-inch away from the edges.
- 4). Cut out the outline from both pieces of material.
- 5). Turn one piece of material right side up and sew on the button eyes.
- 6). Sew the two pieces together, the right sides facing one another. Leave one end open for stuffing.
- 7). Invert the stuffed animal so the eyes are on the outside.
- 8). Fill a mesh pouch with dried herbs. Another option for the scent is to coat stuffing in scented oils and place it in a mesh pouch.
- 9). Stuff the animal half full, add the mesh pouch and then stuff the remaining portion until the animal is as firm as you want.

Sew the stuffed animal closed.
