How Do I Remove Pics From My iPhone?

    Removing pictures you have just taken directly from the iPhone

    • 1). Open the app called "Photos" on the home screen.

    • 2). Select the album marked "Camera Roll." This contains photos you have taken since the last sync.

    • 3). Select the picture you want to delete, and tap it once to enlarge it.

    • 4). Tap the trash can in the lower right corner of the screen after the picture enlarges. If you do not see it, tap the screen once, and it will appear.

    • 5). Tap the red bar marked "Delete Photo." The photo is deleted.

    Removing whole albums

    • 1). Open iTunes on your computer and connect your iPhone.

    • 2). Click on your iPhone from the device menu on the left side of the screen.

    • 3). Click on "Photos" in the tabs near the top of the screen.

    • 4). Select the button marked "Selected albums and events..." in the top highlighted area.

    • 5). Uncheck the albums and/or events you wish to remove in the two highlighted areas. On the left is "Albums" and to the right is "Events." Click the box in the lower right corner marked "Apply." The albums will be removed after the sync.

    Removing photos from within an album

    • 1). Load a photo organizing software, such as iPhoto, Aperture or Adobe Photoshop Elements.

    • 2). Open the software and remove photos.

    • 3). Sync your iPhone. Once albums or events are edited with the photo editing software, removed photos will also be removed from the iPhone at the next sync.
