How to Fold an F117 Nighthawk
- 1). Lay the paper on a flat surface in front of you. Fold the paper in half lengthwise, creasing the new edge. Unfold the paper.
- 2). Fold the upper-left and right corners down to the crease line. The two corners folded down make a triangle.
- 3). Fold the point of the triangle down to the center line. The paper is now shaped like a square.
- 4). Fold the top-left and right corners to the center line. Crease the folds and unfold the right corner.
- 5). Slide your finger under the flap of the right corner. Notice a crease in the middle of the right corner flap. Lift the crease toward the left. Place the flap on the left side.
- 6). Fold the triangle flap to the right side and unfold.
- 7). Repeat Steps 4 through 6 for the left side of the paper. The folded paper resembles a house with a triangular roof. The roof has a lower triangle to the right and left and a diamond shaped portion -- the side flaps -- at the top center.
- 8). Fold the points of the side flaps to the center crease line and unfold. Fold the tip of the diamond shaped portion down to make a horizontal line where the new crease lines on the flaps meet the upper edges.
- 9). Place your finger under the tip you just folded. Gently pull the top of the flap, of the diamond portion, while pressing firmly against the plane's base. Pull the tip up to make the plane's nose.

Fold the model in half longways, connecting the left edge to the right edge. - 11
Lay your model so the point, or nose, faces left. Fold the wing starting at approximately 1 inch from the tip of the nose at a 25-degree angle across the body to the right edge. Repeat the fold for the opposite side. - 12
Make a rudder for each side by folding the ends inward at approximately 3/4 inch. Lift the folds to engage the rudders. - 13
Apply your military decals before putting your plane into action.
