    • 1). Hold your finger against the application's icon on the iPhone screen until it begins to shake.

    • 2). Tap the "X" on the top left corner of the icon to remove the application from your device, and click "No Thanks" to skip rating the application.

    • 3). Plug the docking cable into the iPhone and into your computer's USB port. Open iTunes, and click select the "iPhone" icon in the iTunes' source pane (side menu).

    • 4). Click "Check for Update" in the Summary window in iTunes to check for new iPhone updates, and click "Download and Install."

    • 5). Click "Next" when the iPhone Software Update window appears and click "OK" to install the new software. Click "OK" after the update is complete, and click "Eject" next to the "iPhone" icon in iTunes.

    • 6). Tap "App Store" on your iPhone and re-download the application.
