Discard the paper towel and use a clean paper towel to wipe up the ink stain and excess butter. Repeat these first two steps as needed to remove as much of the ink stain as possible. - 3). Dampen a paper towel with rubbing alcohol. Wipe off the rest of the ink stain on the rubber with the alcohol. As the stain transfers to the paper towel, change to a clean paper towel with rubbing alcohol.
- 4). Clean the rubber surface and remove any last trace of ink stain with a cloth dampened with white vinegar. Allow the rubber to air dry after cleaning.
