How to Download Music to an iPod Nano From Windows Media Player

    • 1). Open Windows Media Player on your computer.

    • 2). Launch the iTunes application. If you do not have iTunes, you can download and install it onto your computer by visiting Apple's iTunes download page (see Resources).

    • 3). Drag and drop music tracks from Media Player into the open iTunes application. Click "OK" when prompted to convert tracks to M4A format.

    • 4). Connect your iPod Nano to your computer using the provided USB cable. When prompted to sync your iPod to the current iTunes library, select "OK." The iPod will automatically sync with the iTunes application. When the transfer is complete, disconnect the USB cable from the iPod.
