    Christmas

    • You can always make a simple Christmas wreath by choosing a wreath made of greenery and attaching a bright red bow. To make something more creative, such as a cookie-cutter wreath, buy about 30 metal cookie cutters that are similar in size. Lay out the cutters in a circle, making sure each one has contact with the adjacent cookie cutters. Attach them to each other using a tacky wax adhesive and paper clips, that way you can easily reuse the cookie cutters when you're finished with the wreath. Attach a large bow made from brightly colored ribbon to the top of the wreath.

    Thanksgiving

    • Hang this unusual wreath on your door for Thanksgiving and impress all your friends and family members. Buy between 20 and 30 ears of Indian corn with the husks still intact. Choose Indian corn that is all the same color or choose different colors. Fold the husks back off of the ears of corn, but don't tear them off. Cut a disk out of cardboard and hot glue the corn to it with the husks pointing to the outside. Fluff the husks for a finishing touch.

    Halloween

    • Halloween is a particularly fun holiday for decorating because anything goes. The more whimsical, the better. Choose a plain vine wreath and hot glue Halloween items to it. For example, purchase small plastic jack-o-lanterns, vampire fang teeth, gravestones and spiders. Attach an orange and black bow to the top and cover the entire design with fake spider webbing.

    Valentine's Day

    • Create this sweet wreath to decorate your door on Valentine's Day. Choose a foam wreath and cover it in fabric. You can choose plain pink or red, or a pattern with hearts. Purchase heart-shaped conversation heart candies--depending on the size of your wreath, you may need a lot of these candies. Hot glue the candies on top of the wreath until it is completely covered. This wreath may not even need a bow, but if you want to add one, choose a pink or red ribbon.

    Easter

    • Create an Easter egg wreath to go on your front door when this holiday rolls around. Purchase a few bags of plastic Easter eggs that are different sizes and colors. Hot glue the eggs to a foam wreath, completely covering the front and sides. Attach a pastel bow to the top or side of the wreath for a finishing touch.
