- 1). Tap "Settings" on your iPhone, then tap "General," and then "Network."
- 2). Tap "Internet Tethering."
- 3). Slide the tethering slider to the "On" position.
- 4). Connect the iPhone to your laptop with the iPhone cord. This is the same cord that you use to charge your phone. Insert the USB end into your laptop. Your laptop will automatically pick up the Internet signal from your iPhone. You will see a blue "Tethering" banner along the top of your iPhone.
