- 1). Connect your iPhone to your computer with the Apple USB cable and allow the iTunes program to launch automatically on your desktop.
- 2). Click on the iPhone tab on the left side menu of the iTunes player. The tab will either read "iPhone" or the previously designated name you registered with your device.
- 3). Click again on the name of the phone and click "Delete" to remove the current name.
- 4). Type a new name in for your phone and click off of the name to save it.
- 5). Click "Sync" and the new name will be saved to your iTunes and the iPhone.
