    Ladybug Egg Carton

    • Empty egg cartons make the perfect body for a cute ladybug. Each ladybug will be made from one cup cut out of the egg carton. Paint the egg cup with red paint. While the paint dries, glue two small wiggle eyes to one black pom pom. Glue the pom pom to the side of the paint cup. A black chenille stem will make the antennae of the ladybug. Cut a two inch piece in half and hot glue the antennae to the top of the egg cup. Dip the tip of your index finger or thumb into black paint and use it to make the ladybug's spots.

    Ladybug Lid

    • You can reuse your plastic milk lid to create a ladybug with your kids. Wash and dry the milk lids before beginning this craft. Paint the milk lids with red acrylic paint and let the lids dry completely. Using black acrylic paint, make a semicircle shape on one side of the lid for the ladybug's head. Add some black spots using the handle end of a paintbrush. After the paint dries, glue small wiggle eyes to the black head of your ladybug.

    Paper Plate Ladybug

    • You can use scraps found around the house to make these ladybugs. Paint two paper plates, one red and one black. While paint dries, cut different sized circles out of fabric, felt or scrapbook paper. Also, cut a semicircle out of black felt or construction paper. When the paint is dry, cut the red paper plate in half to make the ladybug's wings. Put the red pieces on top of the black paper plate and spread the pieces out so part of the black plate is visible. Poke a hole through the top of the two red plates and the black plate. Attach them with a paper fastener. Glue the circles onto the top of the red paper plate. Cover the fastener with the glued on head. Attach wiggle eyes to the head.

    Ladybug Visor

    • Your child will love wearing her adorable ladybug visor. You will need a red foam visor for this craft. Cut a piece of black foam in a semi circle that fits on the tip of the visor for the ladybug's head. Glue the head on the visor with craft glue for a better hold. An adult will need to trim the head to match up closely with the visor. Cut out black foam circles for the ladybug's spots. Attach the spots with craft glue. Glue wiggle eyes onto the head to finish your ladybug visor.
