- 1). Open “My Documents” or the folder where you manually saved the registry backup when you last ran CCleaner.
- 2). Right-click the registry backup, a file ending with “.REG” for registry, and click on “Merge.”
- 3). Allow the registry to restore itself, which may take a few minutes.
- 4). Reboot the computer.
