    • 1). Insert your CD into the CD/DVD-ROM drive on your computer.

    • 2). Click the Windows "Start" menu, select "All Programs," select "Accessories," select "System Tools," and then click "Backup" to launch the "Backup or Restore Wizard."

    • 3). Click "Next" and select "Back up files and settings." Select what you want to back up and click "Next" again.

    • 4). Select your CD/DVD-ROM drive in the "Choose a place to save your backup" box and type a name for your backup. Click "Next."

    • 5). Click the "Advanced" button if you want to schedule frequent backups. Follow the guided prompts to schedule backups if you select this option. Click the "Finish" button to back up files to your CD. Windows saves the files to your disk. When the process completes, click "Close."
