How to Find Recent Internet Searches
- 1). Click the "Start" button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
- 2). Select "Control Panel" from the Start menu. For older computers--Windows XP and older--click on "Disk Cleanup" from "All Programs" of the Start menu.
- 3). Double-click on "Internet Options," then select the "General" tab. For older computers, click on "Temporary Internet Files."
- 4). Click on "View" or "Open" to open the files--this is for both new and older computers.
- 5). Click on the folders that open in a new window. In the folders, find all of the searches, Web content, videos or music ever viewed/opened on that computer. Click on each of the folders to view the web content.
- 1). Hold down the control key along with the letter "H" (Ctrl + H).
- 2). Look to the left of the screen. On the left side of the screen are Internet searches performed on the computer and arranged in order from Today to Last Week.
- 3). Click on "Today" to view the different Web pages and searches. Continue to click on the different dates to view different pages and searches.
