How to Do a System Reboot of Windows Vista
- 1). Click the "Start" button.
- 2). Click the arrow to the right of "Shutdown" on the Start menu.
- 3). Click "Restart" to have your system reboot immediately.

- 2). Type "shutdown -r -t ###" without quotes in the "Run" window, replacing "###" with the number of seconds until the time you wish to restart. As an example, to restart in 2 hours, you would enter 7200, since there are 3600 seconds in each hour. Therefore, the entire command would be "shutdown -r -t 7200". Press "Enter" to set the reboot countdown.
