- 1). Fill a spray bottle 3/4 full with water. Top off the bottle with white vinegar. Screw the top on the bottle and shake it.
- 2). Remove all items from the laminate countertops. Spray the vinegar solution over a 2-foot section. Wipe the counter clean with a soft, clean cloth. Continue cleaning in 2-foot sections over the entire laminate countertop.
- 3). Scoop 1 tbsp. of car wax onto a sponge wax applicator. Starting at one end of the counter, apply the car wax to the surface using small rotating motions and medium pressure. Add another tbsp. of wax to the applicator as you continue to cover the entire laminate surface. Let the car wax turn to a hazy finish, about 10 to 15 minutes.
- 4). Remove the car wax by wiping with a soft, clean cloth using vigorous pressure. Fold the cloth repeatedly as you remove the wax. You may need two to three cloths to remove the wax completely.
