How to Make a Portable Wooden Sawhorse
- 1). Measure and cut the 6-foot stud in half, using a tape measure and a saw, giving you two 3-foot cross beams. Measure and cut eight sawhorse legs 32 inches long from the 8-foot two-by-four studs.
- 2). Place the legs in the leg slots of the sawhorse brackets. Place the crossbeams in the crossbeam slots of the sawhorse brackets.
- 3). Spread the legs to clamp down on the crossbeams and make the sawhorses sturdy for use.
- 4). Close the legs together and remove the crossbeams for easy portability after using.
