How to Sight in a Crossman Night Stalker Scope
- 1). Set up a paper target approximately 30 feet away. Aim your Night Stalker rifle at the center of the target and fire three to five times. Determine the center of the shot group and mark it on the target.
- 2). Determine the adjustments necessary to move the center of the shot group to the center of the target. For instance, if the shot group is three inches above and two inches to the left of the target center; then the scope cross-hairs needs to be adjusted three inches down and two inches to the right.
- 3). Adjust the scope's cross-hairs by turning the dial on the right side of the scope counterclockwise to move the vertical cross-hair right. Turn the dial clockwise for left. Turn the dial on the top of the scope counter-clockwise to move the horizontal cross-hair up or clockwise for down.
- 4). Prepare another target at the distance you plan to be using the most (such as 75 feet) and repeat the process until your scope is aligned with the center of target. Once your are consistently hitting your target your scope is "sighted in."
