How to Sync an iPhone to More Than One PC
- 1). Download and install HexEdit or Pod to PC. These are free software available for PCs (see Resource section).
- 2). Download and install Air Sharing on the iPhone. This configures the iPhone as an external storage device. Mount the iPhone as external storage device.
- 3). Hold "Shift" and double click on iTunes icon. Select "Create Library" and give a name to the library.
- 4). Click on "Start" and select "Music." Select the iTunes folder, right click iTunes Music Library.xml and open it using Notepad. Store the “Library Persistent ID” in another file.
- 5). Select the library that was newly created on the iPhone, find the “iTunes Music Library.xml” and open it using a text editor. Find the “Library Persistent ID” and replace it with the “Library Persistent ID” found on the PC.
- 6). Open the “iTunes Music Library” using HexEdit. Select "Edit" and then “Find and Replace.”
- 7). Give the iPhone's ID in "Find" tab and the computer's ID in "Replace" tab. Perform the replacement and save the file. Repeat these steps for the other PCs.
