  Terra cotta pots are used for many decorating ideas, from table centerpieces to outdoor garden statues. These pots can be painted or any number of objects can be glued to them. They come in a large variety of shapes and sizes that can be glued to each other to create what your imagination has designed. In fact, the only limit to crafting with these pots is one's own imagination.
  
  

Bouquet

  A centerpiece bouquet is simple to make. It requires one pot, size of your choice. Paint or decorate the pot as desired. If using fake flowers, place floral foam in the pot and arrange the flowers in the foam as desired. If using real flowers, place a cork tightly in the bottom hole of the pot and cut the cork off where it sticks out of the bottom. Glue the floral foam to the inside of the pot. When the glue is dry, arrange the flowers in the foam and put water in the pot.
  
  

Cake Plate

  The cake-plate centerpiece is made with one 8-inch terra cotta saucer, one 4-inch terra cotta pot and saucer, and one 6-inch terra cotta saucer. Starting from the bottom, place the 6-inch saucer upside down, the 4-inch saucer upside down on top of the 6 inch saucer, then the 4 inch pot right side up on the 4-inch saucer, and finally, the 8 inch saucer right side up on the pot. Use an ivory acrylic paint for the base coat on all pieces. Use acrylic paints to paint each piece as you wish. When dry, use Liquid Nails to glue the pieced together. Finish the cake plate with a coat of high-gloss enamel. Place an 8-inch paper doily on the top, then a 6-inch cake on the doily. Each table has their own cake.
  
  

Belle of the Ball Centerpiece

  This centerpiece is made with one 8 inch terra cotta pot that has rounded sides and a doll similar to the Barbie doll. Dress the doll in a swim suit that will match the dress. The pot will be the skirt part of the dress when upside down. Paint the pot skirt as desired then turn upside down. If the doll does not fit in the center hole, use a drill to make it larger. The doll's waist should be in the hole. Glue fabric around the dolls waist to conceal the hole in the pot.
