How to Deter Ladybugs

To Get Rid of Ladybugs:

1). Seal up doors and windows. Ladybugs can enter homes through cracks. Applying weather stripping to windows and doors keeps ladybugs from getting inside.
2). Spread diatomaceous earth around the perimeter of the house. Diatomaceous earth is an all-natural insect repellent that is safe to use around humans.
3). Spread insect killers such as boric acid in places ladybugs are likely to walk. In order for this method to work, the ladybugs must walk across the boric acid.
4). Place a bowl of water mixed with a drop of soap in a well-lit place. By placing the traps in well-lit places, ladybugs are more likely to crawl into the water and drown.
