How to Install the EyeToy for Windows Vista

    • 1). Log in to an administrator account. Download the most up-to-date drivers for EyeToy (download.CNET.com/EOCP-Driver-for-Sony-Eyetoy-USB-Camera/3000-2120_4-10532564.html?tag=contentMain;downloadLinks). Save the download in an easy-to-remember location. Now you are ready to install EyeToy for Windows Vista.

    • 2). Open the Device Manager. To do this, navigate to the "Start" menu and select the "Control Panel." In Classic View, click the "Device Manager." The Device Manager window appears. Now plug in your EyeToy into an available USB port. Windows will indicate that it found a new hardware message. EyeToy will appear under Image Devices, showing the model name of your EyeToy.

    • 3). Right-click on the EyeToy listing and select "Update Drivers" from the pop-up menu. Follow the onscreen instructions. If you receive a prompt that the drivers do not have Microsoft's approval, click "Continue anyway." After the drivers have finished installing, follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation of the EyeToy for Windows Vista.
